A full-scale Kingdom of Arendelle rises in Paris

World of Frozen will transform a significant portion of the park into a fully immersive Kingdom of Arendelle, built around the new Adventure Bay lake that forms the heart of Disney Adventure World. The land recreates the iconic Nordic-inspired village from the films, complete with cobblestone streets, colorful Scandinavian architecture and Elsa's shimmering Ice Palace rising dramatically on the mountainside. This marks the first full Frozen land in Europe, far exceeding the small Frozen meet-and-greet zones that have existed in Paris and other parks until now.

Four core experiences anchor the new land

Frozen Ever After attraction will be the marquee ride, taking guests on a family-friendly boat journey through key scenes from the Frozen films. While similar in concept to the popular Frozen Ever After ride at EPCOT in Florida, the Paris version will be uniquely integrated into the Arendelle village setting, with queue and exit pathways woven into the themed streets.

"A Celebration in Arendelle" will debut as a new daytime show on and around Adventure Bay, featuring Viking-style boats, festival theming and waterfront choreography that brings the spirit of Arendelle's summer celebrations to life. The show is designed to use the lake as a dynamic stage, creating a spectacle visible from multiple vantage points around the land.

Royal character encounters will offer guests a chance to meet Anna and Elsa in a dedicated royal reception location, joined by other beloved Frozen characters. Disney has confirmed that the land will feature an advanced full-size Olaf animatronic, promising a level of character interaction and technology not previously seen in European Disney parks.

Nordic-inspired dining and shopping will complete the experience, with restaurants and boutiques designed to feel like authentic Arendelle establishments tucked into the village streets. These venues will offer themed food, beverages and exclusive merchandise tied to the land's opening.

Construction enters final phase ahead of opening

Disney describes the World of Frozen expansion as now in its final phase of construction, with Elsa's Ice Palace and the Arendelle skyline structurally complete and visible across the park. Recent construction updates show rockwork, theming details and water features being installed around Adventure Bay, signaling that the land is on track for its late-March debut.
